The Laurens Industrial Foundation, Inc. was organized in December,1987 for the purposes of furthering the economic development of the City of Laurens and surrounding territory, to promote and assist the growth and establishment of new business and industrial concerns and assist the growth and survival of existing concerns.  The primary objective of this corporation shall be to benefit the Laurens Community as measured by increased employment, payroll, business volume, tax base and like factors rather than monetary profits to the members or other personnel of the Corporation.
